After months of careful planning and collaboration with both local and international industry professionals, I am proud to have successfully Project Managed the South African leg of the Hennessy H250 journey. Among numerous local and international celebrities, this high-profile event was also attended by Maurice Hennessy as well as Hennessy Master Blender Yann Fillioux, and Bernard Peillon (President and CEO of Hennessy).  The event featured an extravagant Art Exhibition and an unforgettably lavish Gala Dinner.

The exhibition at Circa Gallery in Johannesburg featured a gorgeous 1,200m² custom-built showroom floor featuring works by contemporary artists from all corners of the globe. The lineup included South African artist Dineo Bopape, as well as renowned artists such as Anton Corbijn and Charles Sandison. The touring exhibition was curated by Hervé Mikaeloff, and each artist contributed a distinct piece that captured the essence of Hennessy. I worked closely with professional set builders and art handlers to create this unforgettable exhibition. Our 250 VIP gala dinner guests enjoyed an immersive experience with the art pieces, and they were further indulged with luxury chauffeur transfers to the Gala Dinner after the exhibition.

The Gala Dinner at the Polo Room in Sandton reflected the savoir-faire of Hennessy. The venue was spectacularly transformed! Every aspect was meticulously planned and customised to suit the brand and the importance of the occasion. A carefully curated six-course French menu was presented with precise French dining etiquette. Guests were in awe of the level of detail and continued to talk about the occasion for days afterwards.

Working on this event was an absolute privilege - a dream event for any Event Manager.
